What are you working on this week?

Here is a sneak peak at what I am working on for quilt market coming very soon. (We leave in about 10 days.) Oh boy, that reminds me of all the work I have left to do. This is a flannel quilt I have put together with some strike offs. This line of fabric is called Hooty Hoot Kangaroo and doesn’t reach the quilt stores until July.
Isn’t it darling. It’s a boy line with 3 different colorways and I think it is going to sell very well at quilt market. It is designed by Doohikey Designs for Riley Blake Designs.
This is a cute skirt I made with a flower brooch out of Boo to You! This line will be in stores in May. It is designed by My Mind’s Eye for Riley Blake Designs. This is out of my pattern line called Butterfly Kisses and is called the Snowflake Skirt.
This is another very cute Snowflake Skirt out of Felicity designed by Emily Taylor for Riley Blake Designs.
I’ll try to remember to keep taking pictures and show you all the fun things we have getting ready for market. There will be a few surprises I will keep and show after market. Happy sewing!

  1. What am I working on this week………I am just getting back to quilting after a short time off. I decided that I needed to start fresh with something new (I have oodles of things started and not finished, but thats okay). A couple of days ago, I designed a quilt and basically that is what I am working on. I love the Hooty Hoot Kangaroo (the name too)fabric. Some little boy will love it. Where did you find that fat rick-rack? I assume it is rick-rack…. Sharie – Moss Bluff

  2. That is so cute! I love owls. I am really hopeing for a sewing machine this year so I can start to learn….something:) I enjoyed your pics of the fabric making process—very interesting.
