My dear friend Moana made this quilt for her sweet friend Missy that was dying of cancer. She finished it just in time to have her use it and now her daughter Casey has this quilt and loves it. Moana made this duplicate of the quilt for herself as a way to remember Missy.
This is a great block using the 1930’s replica fabrics.
This is the house quilt with all the hundreds of yo yo’s.Don’t you love the colors that were used?
This fabulous mat is a hooked mat made with strips of wool. I just love the design of the witch and all those cute pumpkins. Yvonne makes these mats and uses them.
Cute baby quilt that will be used very soon by Amy. Notice the cute binding in her hair from the quilt binding.
Love this quilt. If my memory serves me right this quilt is by Amber of a little bit biased.
Love the colors in this quilt. Syd Hagland always has such a great eye for color combinations. Love the red plaid on the back.
Love this adorable baby quilt. So simple. So darling.
So this begins the real program with featured designers Bonnie and Brenda of Pie Plate Patterns.
They are 2 of my very favorite people. They are creative and innovative. Enjoy the following quilts. You can check out their website above for any of their patterns. A lot of the local stores carry their patterns.
These last quilts the Pie Plate Girls showed use their templates. They are raw edged and very simple to sew. Their designs are very user friendly and great for beginners.
I hope you enjoyed seeing all these fun quilts, getting you in the mood to go and sew your own quilts and finish all those fun projects that have been started.
Happy Sewing!
