So many new projects and March Quilt Group

Here are some fun blocks that I started working on when I was in Bryce Canyon at Ruby’s Inn. It was a class I took from Leslie and Norma called Summer Days.

This is the block. They are half square triangles pieced together. The circle is appliquéd in the center.Super fun! Super easy!

This is another block that I am doing from Two Peas in a Pod. The quilt is called Swirls. They are paper pieced. Each square is different. The four blocks are pieced together to create the block.. There is a one inch post running through all the blocks.

A quick look at the Penny Lane collection from My Mind’s Eye for Riley Blake Designs. This is the free pattern I designed for Riley Blake. You can download the pattern here for free.

This is a look at the Wanna Be A cowboy 2 collection from Samantha Walker for Riley Blake Designs and you can find the pattern here.

There are 3 color-ways in this collection. This being the boy color-way. There is a girl color-way with pinks and browns and a neutral color-way with the browns and creams that can go either way. It is a really cute collection.

This is show and tell for our March “That alpine Quilt Group”

A fun game board quilt that will be our project this year. Syd Hagland is the designer. She also has a fun quilt retreat place that you need to check out here.

One of my favorite students who has completed her quilt from my last years projects block of the month quilt. Moana Burgess has been working so hard to complete this quilt and she did a great job!

Aniva Willoughby who is our quilt groups secretary finished this beautiful project and it is framed and all finished. I think she is going to have to find a special place in her home for this one.

Joseph smith quilt. Isn’t it spectacular.

Another block exchange quilt. It turned out so great. The middle block is a panel but she has put wool flowers over the top of the original design to give it a 3-dimensional look.

This lone star quilt is just spectacular. Don’t you love the colors?

A very, very fun Christmas quilt. Love it!

This is the beginning of Jill Finley’s trunk show. She is a local designer from Highland, Utah. Just down the street from me. Her work is just spectacular. Enjoy the photos and to check out more you can find her here.

Jill tells stories of these fabulous retreats with her family that she plans.

These quilts are from the round robins she plans also. She does some really great quilts with her family.

I hope these quilts and projects inspire you as much as they do me. They should put you in the mood. Start quilting.
