Quilt Market Spring 2010 Follow up

Look who I caught sleeping on the job. Don’t tell Amanda from The Quilted Fish that Lynette is putting her poor, sore, tired feet up for a moment. She needs a cute pair of Amanda’s slippers to soothe her throbbing feet from standing all day. Oh, and there’s Connie trying to lay down to take a nap.

Look, more cute girls from the Quilted Fish.

The Pie Plate Pattern girls are always so happy and pleasant to be around. They also have wonderful homemade caramels.

Karen and Monica from Nellie’s Needle showcase their new aprons and quilts.

I had to show more pictures of the Riley Blake Designs booth. This shows the side where we showcased Felicity by Emily Taylor. We had wonderful projects from Katie Cupcake, Green Fairy Quilts, Pink Hippo Quilts, Pixie Girl Quilts, Pie Plate Patterns, Butterfly Kisses and Mary’s Cottage Quilts. We appreciate so much their talent with designing new products with Riley Blake Designs fabric.

This is the front of our booth where projects and quilts were made out of Summer Song. We had wonderful new designs by Butterfly Kisses, Retro Mae, Izzy and Ivy, Pink Hippo Quilts, and Nellie’s Needle. Notice the beautiful 3 dimensional Riley Blake Design signs that were hand painted. They look great!

This side shows Boo To You! Toni one of our fabulous reps from St. George is an extraordinary seamstress and she made so many projects for our booth. She made the table toppers, aprons, skirts, bags. Her workmanship is just beautiful and we appreciate all she does to help us showcase our fabric at Riley Blake Designs. You can also see a Nellie’s Needle apron and a cute new quilt.

This is Nantucket Summer. Jodi Taylor is the designer and her fabric will be in stores the end of June. Isn’t it
beautiful?

This is a new designer for Riley Blake Designs and their first line is called Farm Fresh. It will be available in stores in September.

This is Emily Taylor’s section on the design towers called Felicity (left) and Domestic Diva (right) and will be in stores in June. Don’t you just love the kitchen theme and all the cute prints that coordinate?

This is the design tower for Doohikey Designs by Shari Butler. She is showing her first line Sublime and her second line Hooty Hoot Kangaroo. It’s adorable and will be available in stores July.

Market was inspiring. There were so many wonderful people to meet. So many beautiful quilts and projects to see. It’s a great time of year.
