Pie Plate Pattern Retreat 2013

Bonnie, one of my dear friends from Pie Plate Patterns asked if I would come and teach in Fountain Green. They told me I couldn’t get lost but I did. Don’t laugh. The building has recently been renovated from a fire and the sign was really small and hard to read. LOL They still laughed at me.
This is the quilt I taught. It’s the Chevron Lollipop Quilt that I designed for Riley Blake Designs using chevrons. Of course if you haven’t checked out the chevrons you should here.here.

These were some of my cute students. They each had a kit and were prepared to jump right in and start sewing. I taught several different ways to applique these blocks.
Some used the pellon method and some used the heat and bond with a button hole stitch to finish the edge. Either way the blocks turned out fabulous.
I loved being with these ladies. We had such a great time. If you would like this pattern you will be able to download it here.
Happy Sewing!
Jina
