Minnesota Spring Quilt Market 2015

Now that Quilt Market is behind me and I have had time to breathe and catch up I wanted to share some fun pictures from our Riley Blake Designs and Penny Rose Fabrics Booth…especially for those of you who aren’t able to make it.

Featured on the front of our booth is Summer Song2 by Zoe Pearn.
As you can see from the bright oranges, pinks, yellows and greens… this is a true Riley Blake icon fabric.

This pillow is made from the butterfly block that is in the free quilt download for
Summer Song 2 called “Whisperings” click here to see.

Novelty fabrics are a fun part of our designs that feature one of a kind prints.
These fabrics make fun dresses, quilts and projects.

There was a section of our booth where we featured our artists fabrics and pattern collections.
This is Simple Simon with their new line called “Four Corners.”
This fabric collection has tribal, geometric prints with a hint of gold sparkle.

Samantha Walker showcased her “Rodeo Rider” with fun prints for both
girls and boys in pinks and mints… blues, reds and browns.

Deena Rutter shows her “Happy Hauntings” with spooky, vintage icons for Halloween.

“La Vie Boheme” by Amanda Herring for The Quilted Fish is filled with
luscious reds, navy and teal colors…add in a hint of gold sparkle to some of the prints.
Carina Gardner shows her fabric line “Wiltshire Daisy” and Emily Taylor shows “Floribella.”
Both beautiful floral collections.

Sue Daley exhibits her collection for Penny Rose Fabrics called “Forget me Not.”

As you can see from Sue Daley’s expertise in her English Paper Piecing
projects and quilts…she can work with the brights and the reproduction fabrics…
her work takes your breath away.

Riley Blake Designs has the most wonderful knit fabric.
As you can see from the selection we have many fun colors and prints to choose from.
They are so easy to sew with and wash up beautifully!!!

Play Ball was featured on the side of the booth.
It is designed by Lori Whitlock… a fun boy… sports fabric line.
Here you can see the booth from a distance with several fabric collections showcased.

Below is a dress from my pattern company called Butterfly Kisses.
The pattern is called “Billies Best Dress.”
Moana made this dress from Santa Express.
It reminds me of something from “Frozen.”
Every little girl needs a blue Frozen dress.

One of the favorite features in our booth were these hang people by Anne Jacobson of Light Heart Art.
Her detail in these cute people is extraordinary.
Each of the people on our team was highlighted here as a Halloween character.
They each had a little Riley Blake name tag.

The “Fly Away Dress” that we took to Quilt Con was featured again here in our booth.
The quilt behind is a butterfly quilt designed by Melissa Corry.

Sashing Stash was a new concept we launched designed by Eleanor Dugan.
It is a set of designs with perfect measurements which can be cut apart and put together to create fabulous blocks and borders in geometric layouts to create complicated patterns.
 Check out their website.

I am in love with shades and solids from Riley Blake Designs…

Merry Matryoshka  designed by Carly Griffith is an absolutely delightful… happy Christmas Collection.

Postcards to Santa also includes some prints with gold sparkle…designed by My Minds’ Eye…
Also featured is a new pattern from Butterfly Kisses called Sacha Skirt and Jacket.
This fun, whimsical fabric line is called “Flutterberry” and is designed by Melly and Me.
The cute lady bugs you see on the shelf are the panel that goes with this line.

The dress below is the “Mod Maxi” with the jacket from the Sacha Skirt and Jacket from Butterfly Kisses.

They’re irresistible…a closer look at these cute lady bugs.

These strawberries are taken from on line here .
We used sizzix to cut the flowers and placed them as the leaves on top of the strawberries….
“Saltwater” by Natalie Lymer of Cinderberry Stitches…
includes cute seaside creatures and mermaids…such darling girl prints.
Who doesn’t love great boy prints…Kelly Pannaci is the designer of this line called “Little Flyers.”
Home Dec is a fun new medium of fabric we have been doing for about a year.
The prints and colors are amazing. I love sewing with these wonderful textured fabrics.

Patty Young has some new Home Dec prints that come in 10 different colors.
They are so yummy! Patty has fabulous patterns available called Mod Kid.

Extravaganza by Lila Tueller is bright and colorful and fabulous for clothing and quilts.

Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet features her new line called “Modern Minis.”

We also showcased Lori Holt’s Farm Girl Vintage Quilt so everyone could take their pictures by it.
The quilt was a show stopper!

This is a new pattern for Butterfly Kisses called “Super Star Quilt”
It will be available in early fall. It uses solids from Riley Blake Designs.

Gold Sparkle brings bling and class to any project… we love it!!!

Here is sparkle cotton in red, white and blue.
It has a slight shimmer to it and is fun to use in quilts and of course
Frozen Dresses like the one below by Olive Ann Designs.

Tasha Horsley always brings a magical touch to her designs with hand drawn stories
and bright vintage colors.
This line is called “Vintage Market.”
The next few pictures are from the Penny Rose Fabrics booth which is a sister company
to Riley Blake Designs… produces reproduction and historical prints.

I hope you are inspired to start a new project or finish an old one.
Happy Sewing!
Jina xoxo
