Leaving Sunny Florida

There was a little store in this quaint little town near Jacksonville that had just gotton some antique hankies in. These 2 hankies were calling my name. The handwork in them is beautiful.

This has blue stitching on white cotton. All of it is made by hand.

This has a beautiful purple crocheted edge.

Leaving Jacksonvile and heading to the Orlando airport we stopped in a little town called St. Augustine. This little town has been around 55 years before plymouth rock was founded. I loved the nostagia of the buildings and couldn’t resist showing some of the fun architecture that I loved seeing.

This column is made of seashells.

This anchor looks very old. I think of the ship that it used to belong to.

This is the oldest school house.

Loved this fountain. It reminded me of Spain.

This is the fort that protected this little town.

Back to work. Lots to get finished. Less that a week before I head to Houston for Quilt Market. I promise to show some fun projects I am working on.
