Bella Skirt

These are some baskets I’ve been working on for a while. Maybe a year. I don’t know where the time goes. I’m up to 60. We’ll see how many more I do. I’m trying to use all my scrap pink and red colored fabrics. I’ll keep you posted on what I end up doing with them.

I was finally able to put my quilt on my frames and got it all quilted on Saturday. I finished binding it and will show it at That alpine Quilt Group at the end of the month. Maybe I’ll have a good picture by then to show you.

I’ve been doing a photo shoot with my cute nieces who love posing for the camera. As you can see they are huge fans of cute girly things and they loved changing into the many outfits.

Of course, the poses are all their own and Randy and I have so much fun taking their pictures. They love climbing rocks and showing us how they can twirl and do all kinds of fun poses. We just laugh and have a great time.

Among all the cute photos to choose from this is the photo cover I chose. I just love how they’re both holding hands . So sweet, so innocent. They’re just adorable. If you can see the feather bracelet, I tried to let her know that it didn’t match but there was no prying that from her wrist. So there it stays, in the picture. But who cares. It’s the cute little faces and of course if you look beyond it’s the cute skirt that you will love to make.

Among my cute things this week. My little dance students all got their new shoes and they can’t help staring at their feet in the mirror when they dance.

I tried to show how little and cute the gillies (as we call them in Highland Dancing) are. They are about 5 inches in length. Just itty bitty cute. The ones on the right would be an average dance shoe size.

Look at those cute little feet. You should see them dance. They just love to dance and dance. They love to watch themselves in the mirror dance. Every time I think I’m ready to retire they remind me how much I love being in the studio and teaching.

Well onto many great things this week. There is a lot to be accomplished.
