These are the last 3 blocks from my Dear Jane Quilt. I’ve been working on them for 2 years and I have just accomplished one of my New Year’ s Resolutions which is to finish the blocks. Yeh! They are finally completed and I feel like I’ve just completed a quilting marathon. This project was a challenge and I feel like I acquired a lot of very tedious, very detailed, quilting skills. It feels so great to have these finished. Here they are!
Here’s a look at each one. They really are so cute.
I’ve been labeling each block after they are completed so that I will be able to assemble them quickly without looking up the name of each one.
This has to be one of my favorites. Look at that cute center!
If anyone out there is attempting to start this project or in the middle of finishing, it’s the story behind this quilt that makes it so great so enjoy the journey! Now that I’m finished I can say that I truly have enjoyed the journey and will continue to enjoy the journey of assembling this Dear Jane Quilt. The following are pictures from my quilt group that were a show and tell from those who have finished the Dear Jane. They’re inspiring so I thought I’d share.
This red and white quilt is actually machine embroidered not pieced.
Aren’t they incredible? If you look closely you can see the detail of each block. It’s amazing!
