Ya Ya Sisterhood

Ya Ya Sisterhood at Thanksgiving point is a really fun girls night out. If you haven’t been you need to go next year around the 3rd week in October. There’s great food, gifts, and lots of fun women dressed in great hats and dresses. My friend Suzanne Lawrence does a quilt show during this event. It helps to warm the night. I gather from my friends a few quilts to add to the ambiance of the evening.
Look at these great costumes! Aren’t they just darling?

On the left is Paula McKinnley’s Noah’s Ark quilt and on the right is a quilt by Annette Flygare.

Don’t you just love her hat? She won the best hat award of the night.
On the left is a quilt by Moana Burgess and on the right is Jodi Jorgensen’s Star Quilt.
Both quilts are from the Riley Blake Collection All Star and pieced by Moana Burgess. I machine quilted them for her.

The picture is a little dark but on the left you can see part of my #2 Polka dot Quilt and on the right is Sherry Boren’s Home Sweet Home Quilt.

More cute costumes and hats.

My block of the month quilt that I will be teaching the next year 2010 in “That Alpine Quilt Group”
Sherry Boren’s Oh My Gosh quilt which is spectacular. All the pieces in this quilt are not bigger than about 1/2″
