Before heading out of town I thought I would show the blocks for this months “That alpine Group” I’ve chosen May flowers because that is what happens in May. Yes it really is going to be spring time in Utah because the blossoms are in full bloom and everything looks beautiful. I love this time of year when everything comes to life.
This is the flower block and you can either needle turn applique or iron on with fusible webbing or just stitch a 1/4″ seam and leave raw edges for a three dimensional look. 
Here are all the blocks ready to be appliqued. The idea is to get these done while I’m on the road.
There will be 2 rows of 4 blocks and the rows will be sewn to the top and bottom of the quilt.
This is a very scrappy quilt. I hope everyone who has joined in doing this quilt is having fun with their colors.
This is a great quilt to use up all those scraps that we keep from various projects.
