Here is a look at the Andrea Victoria quilt that I just finished. You can download the free pattern at rileyblakedesigns.com under quilt projects. The name of this quilt is Cool Water. The colors were so much fun to work with. This is a look at summer song which can also be downloaded from the Riley Blake Designs web site and is called Summer Bouquet. I used the Summer Song Collection by My Mind’s Eye.
Cindy and I had a chance to go to the big city of Ephraim and do a trunk show for Pie Plate Patterns Retreat. The women were so sweet and we had a lot of fun sharing with them what we do in the design world and I also shared some of my quilts. I’m showing one of my quilts that I challenged myself not to use polka dots. That’s really hard to do if you love polka dots. This is a buggy barn quilt pattern and I only used stripes and plaids.
This is my second polka dot quilt in a different style where I used only polka dots in a snails trail pattern and then an appliqued border.
This was a block exchange in my quilt group many years ago where I chose to use only reds and whites. This is the bear paw block. I didn’t like it when it was finished but had it quilted by a friend who made it come to life. I love it now
