Glamper-licious Fabric Tour

Glamper-licious
I’m always so excited to be part of a fabric tour.

These fabrics scream of luscious reds, delicate pinks,
spring greens and summer aquas.

This collection is designed by Samantha Walker.

As soon as I received the fabric I
got right to work in cutting up all the wonderful cherries
and cute glampers so I could sew them into
a Dresden quilt block.

Once the blocks were completed and pieced together…

the quilt was sent to Connie so she could work
her quilting magic.

The binding is my favorite ending to the quilting
journey and I love nothing better than
using Shari’s Binding Babies to prepare
my binding for the scallop edge on this quilt.

The colors and design of this quilt look so summery.
It reminded me of packing a basket filled
with fruit and sandwiches for a fun picnic.

The red and white check along with the
cherries are my favorite designs in this
Glamper-licious collection.

Once the blocks were sewn together and
assembled with the scrappy sashing,
it seemed like  a scalloped border would be the
perfect finishing touch.

I love how scrappy this quilt looks…
and I love the Dresden quilt block!

The red centers on the Dresden’s looks like
red polka dots.

Who doesn’t love red polka dots!!!

“Summer Love” is the name of this new pattern that I will be releasing in my Butterfly Kisses Pattern Company.

Thank you Samantha and Riley Blake for inviting me
to play with these summer colors and designs.

Happy Sewing!!!
