Woolly Sheep is the last block on the
Farm Girl Vintage Friday Blog Hop Sew-Along.
It has been sew much fun sewing along
with Lori Holt,
and all of you every Friday.
I have a pile of super cute Farm Girl Blocks that I can’t wait to start piecing together to make a fabulous quilt.
I wanted my sheep to be white so I used low volume fabrics…I’m going to add some embroidery around the edge of the sheep to help the outline pop.
My Woolly Sheep and I
took a little field trip to Birdseye, Utah.
My sister-in-law and her husband
live on a ranch…
It was the perfect spot for some
Farm Girl Vintage photos.
Don’t you love this old farm truck!
The setting was a beautiful, peaceful, tranquil day.
We were able to take these photos with the perfect backdrop for Woolly Sheep.
Farm Girl Vintage features 45 different quilt blocks
in 6″ and 12″ sizes.
There are bonus projects and quilts galore.
The instructions are visual and easy to read and understand.
There are so many eye candy photos of quilts in fabulous settings.
This book has really inspired me and has been my play time away from work.
Thank you Lori and Fat Quarter Shop for allowing me to share in your

I love your block so much in the low volumes. That sheep quilt is fabulous, too. Your finished FGV quilt will be adorable! Thanks for the inspiration.
