2012 Fall International Quilt Market in Houston

So here we are at the Riley Blake booth in Houston for the International Quilt Market. It is always so much work to get here and I fret that I won’t have enough to decorate the booth. I really scaled things down this market and there was still plenty in the booth to display. I could never do all this without the help of the many designers and sewists who sew their little hearts out getting all of these items ready for quilt market.
This is Happy Ever After by Sandra Workman of Pine Needles. They have a fabulous store in Gardeners Village.
Chevrons. How can you go wrong. They looked great.
Prairie Rose by Sue Daley of Australia.
The Sweetest Thing by Zoe Pearn. Really cute knits and cottons.

Geekly Chic along with ribbons and trims by Riley Blake Designs.
All our new fabric lines for 2013.
Little Matryoshka by Carly Griffith.

Indie Chic by My Mind’s Eye.

Polka Dot Stitches by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet.

Fabulous quilts that Lori is busy writing patterns for.

 Serenity by Bo Bunny.

Hello Sunshine by Lori Whitlock.

On the Go by Bo Bunny.
Super Star by Zoe Pearn
Pieces of Hope. Our charity fabric line that raised $21,800.
Shades, solids, gingham and shuffle. Riley Blake Design basics.

Flutter by Amanda Herring of The Quilted Fish.

Sweetcakes by Doodlebug Design.

Pirate Matey’s by Emily Taylor Designs.

Life in the Jungle by Doohikey Designs.

Our make and take table with many of our designers.
Our 3 gals who designed the QR code quilt along with Emily Taylor.

I hope you enjoyed a tour of our quilt market booth.
Market was a great success for Riley Blake Designs.
Be inspired!
Happy Sewing!

  1. I love the pictures that you showed, and I love most of the fabric lines (nothing personal, I just have two daughters, so the for boy lines just wouldn't work at my house.) 🙂
I actually own some of the Polka Dot Stitches and I have to say that the quality is probably the best I've ever owned of quilt fabric (and I own TONS: don't ask my hubby!!) The colors are beautiful, and the fabric has a sheen that is almost silk like. I got my PD stitches at Material Girl in South Jordan while on a visit to relatives: do you ever allow tours of your facility? I'd love to see it sometime!! I'm in love with your company!! Thanks, Helen Lebrett (Healdsburg, Calif.)
