This was my first year going with a few friends to see the Walker Lane Quilt Quilt Show.
Walker Lane is a beautiful hidden lane in the Holiday area in Salt Lake City. These quilters show their quilts every 2 years and from what I hear they only show what they have been working on.
They don’t show quilts that have been shown before.
As you can see the property for the location of this quilt show is worth seeing. There are animals in the background that add to the ambiance of the venue.
I always love a red and white quilt.
Another wonderful red and white quilt.
Inside this barn were quilts on 2 levels that were displayed beautifully.
Got to Love the Riley Blake Designs chevron!
The yard was beautifully manicured. It was just lovely.
This quilt had wonderful workmanship and I loved how the black played out with these bright colors.
Very cute House block!
Notice all those half square triangles . Love the way the darks and lights within one color play off each other.
Love the color contrast and pattern that this quilt displays from a distance.
Best off all, doesn’t this vintage car look great with a quilt. It was a fun show of quilts and put you in the mood to go and finish many of those unfinished quilts. Well it’s back to sewing and finishing projects for market. Last day before heading to International Quilt Market.
Happy Sewing!
