Here is a look at my 20 year quilt for “That alpine Quilt Group” I’ve finished the top and now need to quilt it. All the blocks are symbolic of different memories from my 20 years of quilting with my friends. I love how the bright colors come together and pop with the black background. It makes me happy when I see this quilt and memories flood my mind as I think of the many things I’ve learned with my quilting friends.
The following are quilts that were shown as show and tell.
This is a quilt using the Riley Blake Designs line “All Star” I think the sailboats turned out very cute for a little boy quilt.
This quilt was made in memory of a little boy who died at age 3 about 28 years ago and we all cried as she told us the story behind the memories of this quilt. She gave it to her in laws for Christmas.
Jodi Jorgensen is a fabulous quilter who loves curves. Look at this fun quilt.
A cute, very simple quilt to start the season of Valentines which happens to be one of my favorite holidays.
Now this quilt is incredible. Look at the red work.
It’s a beautiful Christmas Quilt that everyone was oohing and ahhing over.
The border is 1/2″ strips of red and white creating a checker board post. It is stunning.
This is another great Christmas Quilt.
Look how great this label on the back of this quilt is.
Well as you can see these are all fabulous quilts. These show and tells always put me in the mood. It’s a little inside joke of my quilt group that “I’m in the mood.” (That means to go and get started quilting. I can’t sleep. I just want to create.)
