Suzanne, a friend of mine and a wonderful fabric buyer for The Quilting Cottage in American Fork, does a fabulous quilt show for The Thanksgiving Point Emporium, a beautiful shop in Lehi, Utah. The annual event is to celebrate the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Women come from all over to celebrate and share good food, recipes, door prizes, wonderful gifts and treasures. The women dress up in beautiful hats, jewelry, shoes, & dresses with ruffles and lace. They laugh, eat, and have fun.
Circling overhead and around the perimeter of the open ceiling in the Emporium is a large walkway. The impressive display of quilts were carefully hung from the top railing of the walkway over-looking the store area below.
In preparation for this event, I collected 30 quilts from some of my dear quilting friends, who dare trust me with their precious hand work. Many of my quilts that you see at http://www.JinaBarneyDesignz.com were also part of the artistic display. The quilts represent a diverse difference in taste of color and pattern. Together they represent many years of wonderful quilting expertise.
