Well Spring is springing here in Utah very slowly. It helps to have signs inside the house to remind me of what’s happening outside with the new blossoms and baby buds, even though yesterday it was snowing. But, today it looks like we are going to have sunshine. I’ve learned to appreciate any sunshine we get this time of year. Don’t you love to see new baby chicks and birds nest. They are reminders to me of spring.
Another little egg pincushion. I think I’m obsessed with pin cushions. I keep making them because they’re so cute. They’re like fabric, you can never have enough.
I thought I’d show you one of my favorite Easter Quilts that I just got out to display for Easter. Ignore the wrinkles. It’s all hand appliqued and hand quilted.
This is a Bunny Hills Design called Rabbits Prefer chocolate.
If you look close you can see I used ribbon to embellish the rabbits necks along with some embroidery.
Don’t you love the scalloped edge.
This quilt makes me happy when I get it out each year. I think it is a very fun design by Bunny Hill.
This is the label on the back of the quilt. I’m big on labeling quilts. After a while you forget when you made your quilt. So make sure you sign and date everything.
