Spelling Bee Sew Along

I’m so excited to be part of the Spelling Bee Book Sew Along by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet for Fat Quarter Shop.
There is so much to LOVE about this fun book that includes all upper and lower case letters. It also features complete instructions for 100 letters, numbers, punctuation and picture blocks in 6″ and 12″ block size, plus 18 quilt projects!

I used “Yes Please” fabric line by
The color palette is black and off white with a touch
of rose gold. The simplicity of the colors lends itself to sophistication.

I have a fun project planned with the blocks I will be making.
Right now I have my binding by Vintage Door wrapped around my Binding Baby which is made by Shari for Doohikey Designs.

You can see how adorable my Binding Baby is and how she keeps my binding from unraveling while waiting to be used.

My letter today is “lowercase o”. It is super quick and easy. I have made several blocks as I am preparing to make something fun once I finish my other letters for the Spelling Bee Blog Tour.

“o” is for opal, outgoing, optimistic, orange, octopus, oxygen, ocean and owl.

It symbolizes a circle which represents the notions of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement.

I like to think of a circle as never ending LOVE!

Now to get busy on my other blocks!
Happy Sewing!
